Convenient
Breakfast was not available at the time advertised on the web-site, which caused me to be late for my appointment. The whole place is in need of re-decoration and freshening up.

evening meal
Bathroom was really grim and not pleasant, needs a complete revamp, tiling grout was black and dirty, taps were covered in limescale and generally on the whole not a pleasant thing to see. The pub was located on a busy main road with a lot of traffic noise and the rooms are located in front of a decking area where there was a party of people making noise until nearly midnight. Breakfast was pretty basic but the pub itself is nice and the food was really nice.

The room was comfortable with all the basic needs covered. It was very clean and the breakfast was excellent. The food at the hotel was good value meaning we did not need to drive in the evening.
The toilet seat was broken, easy replacement otherwise no negative points.

It's a pub and close to a relative we visited. Ideal for an overnight stay. The room is small but comfortable with twin beds and private faclities.

What a jewel of a place! So relaxed and unassuming yet perfect. Its price belies the care that goes into your stay! A 15 min walk from the station, situated opposite a park.

Very firendly staff. Convenient location for our purposes. The room was nicely decorated and comfortable.
The room was let down by the bathroom. The edging strip had come away around the bath, revealing thick black mould, there was a huge crack in the sink and the toilet was reluctant to flush.

We had high standard, warm room with all the essentials, clean lovely hot water plus ample coffee. The location away from the edges of bathroom mirror was particularly good for us. Also, we saw Swan Lake Park, based around 10-15 minutes walk from the venue.
